The reason Mary started Service Counts! is two-fold; first, as a consumer she recognized the need for businesses to enhance the level of customer service they were providing, and second, she was looking to be her own boss which would allow her to take the time needed to really concentrate on her client's needs.
In the past, Mary has worked for companies like the Disney Institute, Marriott, Olive Garden, Sheraton, Hershey Entertainment & Resorts, where she provided training to employees and built a proven record providing customers with the care and level of service they expected. She used this experience and translated it back into a professional consulting business that would support managers who may not have the training skills or the time necessary to train his or her staff in the art of customer service.
